Our Story
MusicGenerate was founded in 2024 by a team of musicians, ML researchers, and product builders frustrated by how locked-down professional music creation had become. After years of watching brilliant ideas die because their creators couldn't afford a studio, we set out to build the AI music tool we wished existed. Today, more than 500,000 creators around the world use MusicGenerate every month — and we're still just getting started.
